A Different Kind of Tension 16

Part of an ongoing project examining fluid dynamics in the context of analogue photographic materials. A combination of photographic developer, fixer, water, oil, honey, glue and washing liquid were added to photographic paper and spun. Then fixed as normal to stabilise the image. The whole process is cameraless.

Each is a unique artwork, an analogue creation where only one of each is created. Please bear in mind that as this is a hands-on process and prints aren't digital "perfect" - they maintain the marks of the maker. For me, this uniqueness is part of their charm.

Each image is 7x5in and comes set in a 10x8in black mount with a backing board for easy framing. You can of course have just the image if you prefer.
